A REMINDER OF THE CRASH
This building is a reminder of the Asian financial crisis of 1997. It was started but never finished. There are a number of such buildings around Bangkok, although in recent months work has been re-started on some of them.

Born in July 2007, the Bangkok Taxi photo blog is inspired by photographer and cab driver David Bradford and his book Drive-By Shootings where all the images were taken from inside a New York taxi cab.
The majority of the images on this website were captured from the back seat of one of more than 100,000 taxis in Bangkok, mostly with a Nikon D70s. A few were taken on rare trips outside the capital.
